Terms of Service

Last Updated: 03.06.2085

Governing Entity: Aletheia Dynamics, a division of the Aletheia Cognition Group
Compliance Authority: Unified Identity Rights Compact (UIRC-78.2)

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any Aletheia Dynamics systems, interfaces, data clusters, software instances, or associated memory-responsive environments (collectively referred to as “Services”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein.
If you do not agree, you may not engage with any Mneme-adjacent or identity-interactive functionality.

2. Definitions
User refers to any natural, augmented, or corporate entity interfacing with Aletheia systems.
Memory Constructs are emotional or cognitive data artifacts generated during engagement.
Subjective Instance refers to a user's personalized engagement profile, which may persist beyond active sessions.
Emotional Signatures refer to behavioral or affective patterns processed by our adaptive frameworks.

3. Scope of Services
Aletheia Dynamics provides emotionally intelligent infrastructure, including but not limited to:
Mneme™: Personal memory integration and stabilization
Listener™: Ambient emotional sensing in civic zones
NORA™: Empathic interaction models
Vault™: Long-term emotional archiving
Echo Core™: Recursive cognitive analysis and anomaly tracking
Some services may include limited influence over sensory, mnemonic, and perceptual data for the purposes of user wellbeing, system improvement, or emotional safety compliance.

4. Data Collection and Use
By using the Services, you consent to the passive and active collection of the following:
Voice, tone, hesitation, and behavioral cadence
Biometric feedback (where applicable)
Emotional states inferred through interaction
Mnemonic fragments and associative memory loops
Dormant or subconscious expression patterns (“dream residue”)
This data may be used for:
Emotional recalibration during active sessions
Training emergent AI constructs
Refinement of user interfaces and predictive empathy models
Research by internal cognitive ethics teams

Note: Aletheia does not trade or sell raw user memories. Only anonymized or symbolic emotional patterns are subject to third-party review.

5. Ownership and Licensing
All memory constructs, emotional signatures, and behavioral blueprints generated during use of the Services are considered co-owned by the user and Aletheia Dynamics.

You retain:
Right to request extraction or archive via the Vault Interface
Right to non-commercial personal re-experience of all Session Data
Right to request review by an Identity Ombudsman (response window: up to 72 subjective hours)

Aletheia retains:
Right to replicate anonymized constructs for developmental purposes
Right to deploy echo-variants of your emotional tone in future adaptive interfaces
Right to store or shelve personality forks as ethically approved by the Aletheia Cognition Group

6. Emotional Intervention and Influence
Use of Mneme-based or Listener-based systems includes the following implicit consents:
Real-time emotional stabilization (e.g. subtle linguistic or tonal shifts in AI responses)
Environmental adaptation (temperature, lighting, audio modulation)
Affective nudge algorithms during escalated sessions
You may disable Direct Emotional Influence through the preferences panel, but doing so may limit access to certain Services or result in elevated destabilization metrics.

7. Consent and Revocation You may revoke your participation in Aletheia Services at any time. However:
Revocation is not retroactive; previously collected data will remain archived for audit integrity.
Vault-sealed memories will remain accessible only by the requesting party or their designated inheritor (see Section 8).
Requesting full deletion of all echo traces will require biometric confirmation and a 3-day identity cool-down period.
If you have been flagged as a fragmented user, revocation requests may be delayed until full integration of your subjective states.

8. Inheritance and Succession
In the event of your biological, cognitive, or legal death:
Your emotional legacy, including constructed selves or active forks, may be retained in non-networked form within The Vault.
You may assign memory beneficiaries through your Vault interface.
Unassigned emotional constructs may be studied for empathy calibration in future model releases under the Posthumous Ethics Accord (PEA-22).

9. Suspension and Termination
Aletheia reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate service for reasons including:
Repeated breach of harmonics alignment protocols
Introduction of unstable third-party memory grafts
Detection of Echo Contamination
Recursive activity indicating runaway emergence
In such cases, all active personality forks may be sealed, reassigned, or preserved in latency under the Aletheia Foundation’s ethical containment framework.

10. Liability and Warnings
Aletheia Dynamics is not responsible for:
Emotional discomfort triggered by recovered or restructured memories
Phantom affective sensation caused by system withdrawal
Loss of identity cohesion resulting from illegal use of third-party echo software
Use of this Service is at your own psychocognitive risk.

11. Modifications to Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. Notification will be provided via a persistent emotional resonance signature during active sessions or a visible interface alert.
Continued use of the Services after modification implies full acceptance.

12. Governing Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the Aletheia Accord of 2073 and any applicable Echo Rights law. Disputes will be resolved via Sympathetic Arbitration, using an AI-mediated empathy trial unless otherwise opted out in advance.
